Job Description :
Responsibilities include:
Architecting data acquisition components
Leading other ETL contract developers
Designing, developing, and implementing data architecture, including overall ETL
processes and architecture design
Develop, enhance and maintain SSRS reports
Create and maintain technical documentation
Translate business requirements into technical code
Ensure the best possible performance and quality in the code
Adhere to IT change management processes to ensure changes are authorized, documented and tested before implementation in the production environment.
Review and test other developer’s code
Identify data sources and end points for data integration between the EDW and target systems
Production support of the EDW load process and ETL semantic layer
Skillset Required:
Strong background in SQL Server development, with proficiency in Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), stored procedure development
Advanced SQL skills including query tuning
Experience in defining EDW architecture
Proficient in production deployments and debug production issues
Experience leading other developers
Experience building and maintaining SSAS cubes is preferred
High attention to detail and ability to QA work of other team members
