Position Summary-
ETL/ Informatica (Data Quality) Developer, Contract to Hire, Strong Informatica (DQ and Power Center) development, ETL, Java, SQL, Unix/Linux, Sybase/Oracle/DB2/SQL-Server, Autosys+, Agile+, Fin svs+
The DQ Developer – Informatica with Data Quality role is a highly technical position – with an emphasis on providing design, ETL and data quality expertise.
Application Design and Development
Extensive Informatica (Data Quality and Power Center) development expertise
Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements and design
Provide testing and production support as necessary
Experience:
Minimum 9 years’ experience in application development and system analysis.
Experience with Informatica, Java and Linux scripting a must.
Experience with Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server and DB2 a must.
Demonstrated capabilities in the following disciplines:
o Data Quality and Profiling
o ETL
o Data Architecture and Data Modeling
Preferred experience with enterprise scheduling tool like Autosys
Database performance tuning experience
Strong UNIX skills and SQL experience
Good SQL writing capabilities
Profile Data Sources and provide analytics to Business Partners
Translates business rules into technical specifications
Perform Unit Testing and assist Enterprise Quality Assurance and User Acceptance testing teams
Demonstrated experience and expertise in the Software Implementation Lifecycle (SILC) including collection of requirements, documentation of specifications, application design, implementation and support.
Experience with Agile development
Demonstrated advanced technical and analytical skills.
