Job Description:
Minimum 7 years of experience in ETL development using Informatica, with experience of requirement analysis, designing and developing ETL jobs within Healthcare industry.
Minimum 5 years of experience in TSQL, PLSQL database scripting
Strong expertise in Informatica Powercenter and Power Exchange required
Experience with Databases (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, Netezza)
Understand Business requirements and produce Solution Design artefacts with required functions, interfaces and detailed technical architecture.
Design and maintain complex Informatica ETL that support business requirements
Enable good relationships with clients and collaborate well with multi-location teams.
Analyze source systems for data profiling and creation of source to target mapping specs
Ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities in line with client needs and architectural requirements.
Identifies potentially reusable objects in current Data Warehouse/Mart & ETL BI Solutions.
Perform code review activity for complex modules and perform hands-on code development if required in Informatica and ETL tools.
Create and Manage Data Models (Conceptual, Logical and Physical)
Develops clear, detailed technical and user documentation that will facilitate support for developed Data Warehouse/Mart and ETL BI solutions.
Experience in Windows & Vbs scripting
Understand Architecture Requirements and ensure effective Support activities.
Develop Non-functional designs and performance best practices for Informatica.
Provide support to Offsite Delivery Teams for planning and tracking deliverables
Be involved in the full life-cycle of solution implementation phase and ensure deliverables are with good quality
Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate at different levels of the organization.
Work experience with DB2 AS400 and Mainframe systems
Experience with messaging technologies
Experience with UNIX and shell script programming/ Experience with high level Windows administration and windows scripting
Experience with DevOps Tools (Chef, Docker, Puppet, Bamboo, Jenkins)
