Job Description:
Title: ETL Developer
Location: Plano, TX or San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6 Months Contract To Hire
We believe this interview will be mainly focused on ETL, Data warehousing concepts, Data stage/Informatica performance tuning, some of use case scenarios in the Datastage/Informatica, Performance tuning of data stage jobs & finally Hadoop concepts.
Interview Process: Resume Reviewed follow by phone interview followed by an onsite/skype interview
Day to day Responsibilities
-SQL
-managing developers (ETL, Informatica)
-giving advice on ETL
-must have knowledge of DataStage and Informatica, or Hadoop
-leading teams for 2-3 years
-hands on strong data quality presence
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) majors, or 4+ years of equivalent work experience in IT working with BI/ETL
2+ years’ experience in ETL, BI/BO disciplines
Preferred
4+ years’ experience in reporting/analytic role with a focus on visualization design and development
4+ years’ experience with SAP Business Objects including Universe Designer, Web Intelligence, Xcelsius/Dashboards and Explorer
Advanced SQL development skills
Proficient in dimensional database design
Experience with DataStage
Experience leading teams in an Agile environment
Primary Responsibilities
You will work to harden, enhance and support our data and analytics environments, cycles, data quality, dashboards and reports. You will partner with team members on projects that include Return-to-Service (RTS) analysis, break-fix enhancements, ETL framework enhancements, data quality enhancements, usage reporting and general design, coding and release/build activities.
