The ETL developer is responsible for the creation of prototypes & test cases in the design phase of data warehouse and business intelligence initiatives. They are also responbible for the creation of informatica ETL components listed in the technical specification during the development phase.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the creation of prototypes & test cases in the Design Phase of data warehouse and business intelligence initiatives. Responsible for the creation of Informatica ETL components listed in the technical specification during the Development Phase. Components include the development of ETL jobs, balancing routines, error handling routines, quality assurance processes and batch jobs. Adherence to Informatica coding standards, best practices, and guidelines laid out in the CMMi framework .Provides detailed metric based data during the Design and the Development Phases of the SDLC lifecycle. Responsible for consistent on-time delivery of quality systems components in accordance with technical specifications.
