Required Skillset:
Experienced ETL Developer with a senior-level development background in DataStage.
Should be able to propose and design solutions for business requirement/problem.
Oversee offshore ETL Developers. Drive all design and development activities; work with multiple stakeholders across teams including Architecture, QA and Production Support.
Play a technical lead role in designing and delivering large-scale ETL solutions using DataStage and multiple database technologies (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle
Play a lead role in analyzing business requirements and proposing/designing end-to-end ETL solutions that best meet business needs.
Oversee day-to-day ETL development work of offshore team/resource, including design and code reviews, guiding progress toward successful implementation and delivery.
Take a lead role in further establishing best-in-class ETL development.
Collaborate with analysts, data modelers and architects during data modeling, data mapping and system specification activities.
Oversee unit testing, system and integration testing, and performance testing to validate the solution.
Partner with business teams to look for opportunities to enhance current reporting capabilities.
