Job Description :
Seeking a dynamic, team-oriented and self-motivated ETL developer to facilitate data movement across platforms. Analyze, design, build, test and implement extracts, transform and load procedures.
Responsibilities
create, extract, transform and load processes and programs in appropriate environments
responsible for the development and application of best practices and documentation of ETL processes.
Requirements
Education
Qualified candidates have a bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related discipline.
Skills
Required Skills:
must have demonstrated experience with IBM’s DataStage ETL platform. Preferably running on AIX
understanding of data warehouse concepts, including star schemas
proficient in SQL on DB2/UDB
strong analytical and organizational skills
able to multitask and effectively perform multiple assignments
effectively trouble shoot, debug and problem solve complex issues
effective verbal and written communication skills
Experience
Qualified candidates must have:
3 or more years of Data Stage experience is required
experience with multi-platform environments and languages including AIX, UNIX, and Korn Shell scripting.
experience with DB2 UDB and Utilities
experience implementing and refining required business transformation rules and logic
Ideal candidates must have experience with:
IBM Information Server (DataStage)
AIX
