ETL Developer
Senior ETL Developer will be part of the Enterprise Data Warehouse implementation team and will be a key technical delivery resource, responsible for the detailed design, planning, construction, deployment and support of technical components required for our data warehouse and data integration needs. The candidate should have a solid data warehousing experience and should be an expert with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) aspect of data warehousing.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with BI analysts, BI architects, data architects and ETL developers, during EDW design, data modeling, data mapping and system specification activities
2. Work with stakeholders to perform source system analysis and identify data quality issues
3. Diagram technical decompositions, describes technical process and data components and designs exception handling and controls
4. Participates in functional design reviews and lead technical design reviews
5. Design and develop ETL solutions using Informatica Cloud / Powercenter, including components to address data quality issues
6. Create ETL technical specifications, design documents, test plans and test results
7. Create and execute ETL unit test plans
8. Troubleshoot data issues and defects to determine root cause
9. Performance tuning of the ETL processes and SQL queries and recommend and implement ETL and query tuning techniques
10. Collaborate with QA team to develop and execute test strategies and plans
11. Participate in QA, UAT & Production support related to the project
12. Conduct technical code reviews and provide feedback
13. Follow technical standards and architectural best practices in the environment
14. Deliver best possible technical solution in terms of performance, quality and maintainability
15. Provides integrations tool/product expertise related to design, development, testing and deployment
