Job Description :
Location : Jacksonville, FL.
Duration : 1+ year
This person will be responsible for ETL development, supporting transition from AbInitio to Scala/Spark. Will be responsible for creating ETL graphs and providing production support for current environment. Will produce new Scala / Spark code while migrating from AbInitio.
Requirements:
5 or more years of IT development/programming/coding professional work experience utilizing Ab Initio.
Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer, Engineering or Mathematics field and 7 or more years of progressive work experience in a developer or programming role or a Master’s Degree in a Computer, Engineering or Mathematics field and 5 or more years of work experience in a developer or programming role
Experience with Scala and Spark
Experience in with implementing ETL process
Experience using with Control-M scheduling software
Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources.
Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Experience with Pig, Hive, Spark and Big Data querying tools
Must demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skills
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately
Experience and understanding with unit testing, release procedures, developing code, design and documentation protocol, as well as and change management procedures
Proficiency using versioning tools
Thorough knowledge of Information Technology fields and computer systems
Demonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to coordinate with external teams including vendors to deliver.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
