Job Description :
Role: ETL Datastage Developer
Technology: ETL Reports
Location: Salem, OR


Data stage requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing conversion/data warehouse/ data mart solutions using COTS software that includes the following:
o Converting data from legacy systems to DB2 RDBMS using IBM InfoSphere / DataStage ETL software version 9 and above
o Knowledge on using IBM InfoSphere/ DataStage Suite
o Using ETL tool to write transformation algorithms
o Performing data validations and cleansing during conversion
o Developing custom development algorithms
o Generating reports out of the ETL tool to indicate the health of conversion
o Knowledge using the ETL tool to transform data from RDBMS to OLAP structure for data warehouse reporting using IBM InfoSphere Warehouse software
o Experience in installing and configuring IBM InfoSphere enterprise edition software in workstation and server environment(s)
Experience in DB2 Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) including:
o Writing queries using SQL.
o Stored Procedures in DB2
o Knowledge on Database constraints
Technical skills including understanding of software development life cycle – Design, Development, Unit testing and integration testing phases.
Aptitude for trouble-shooting and problem solving.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
