Job Description :
Position: ETL DataStage developer
Location: Eagan, MN (Must be Local)
Duration: 12 months
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination or education and/or relevant work experience
5 plus years experience supporting key enterprise business applications and servers
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to handle both design and coding responsibilities along with working under the guidance of a Lead Systems Developer
Strong problem-solving and analysis skills
Capable and willing to receive work direction from direct and indirect leadership
Strong desire to learn
Excellent documentation skills
Skill’s: Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years ETL Development experience using various technologies including IBM InfoSphere DataStage and Unix.
2+ years experience working with IBM’s DB2 DBMS, SQL, Oracle DBMS
2+ years experience in writing Shell Scripts
Working Knowledge on Scheduling tools(Robot, Autosys, TWS)
Thorough understanding of database concepts, data models, and the overall data flow architecture in data warehouse environments
Working knowledge of IBM Info Analyzer, Info Sphere and Fast Track Tool.
Data Analysis experience including Data Profiling
Strong problem-solving, analytical and business analysis skills
Familiarity with MS Office product suite including MS-Project
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of IBM ISeries
Background in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry a plu
