Our direct client is looking for an ETL & Data Migration Lead for a Long Term Contract in Richmond, VA.

Job Description
- The successful candidate will lead ETL and data migration activities for a new ERP implementation.
- Responsibilities include designing ETL flows, data mapping and data migration processes to ensure the successful migration from legacy systems.
- Design & create ETL processes as needed to meet business requirements and ensure successful data migration for project implementation
- Perform Data Profiling, Assessment, and Data Cleansing as required to meet data migration goals
- Continually seek ways to improve the process of data conversion, migration, and integration from the legacy environment to a new system
- Share knowledge and create proper documentation related to the ETL & data migration efforts
- Provide quality formal and informal documentation consistent with documentation standards
- Close attention to detail to ensure integrity and quality of data migration
- Report progress to business and project managers in a timely manner

- Demonstrated ability to manage project priorities and deliverables
- Demonstrated follow-through on assignments and issue resolution
- Provide input in the development of tools and processes to help increase team productivity

Communication and Consulting Skills:
- Provide overall guidance and leadership to project in the areas of Data Architecture, Conversion, Migration, and Integration
- Clear and effective communication (both verbally and in writing)
- Consistently produce clear, concise status reports
- Builds confidence and trust with clients
- Displays effective analytical skills

SKILL MATRIX:
- Experience with a prior data migration, conversion, or integration project for a new ERP system implementation - Required - 5 Years
- Proficiency with common data and/or ETL tools including SQL Developer, Oracle Data Integrator ODI (highly preferred), Excel, and other equivalent ETL or data movement and extraction tools.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL scripting and working with relational database systems - Required - 10 Years
- Experience defining data objects, models, data definitions and mapping data between various formats and systems - Required - 5 Years
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP - Highly desired - 2 Years
- Experience with legacy financial systems or other major Financial ERP system (Oracle, peoplesoft, SAP, Lawson, etc - Highly desired - 3 Years
- Familiarity with master data management concepts and practices - Highly desired - 2 Years
- Experience working with web services (REST or SOAP) for data integration and interfaces - Highly desired - 2 Years
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and models (star schema, dimensions, multi-dimensional) - Highly desired - 2 Years
- Experience gathering requirements and producing technical specifications and documents - Highly desired - 5 Years
- Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Oracle BI Publisher, Crystal, OTBI, Oracle BI, or SmartView - Nice to have -2 Years
- Clear and effective communication, verbally and in writing - Required
- Lead ETL and data migration activities for a new ERP implementation
- Advise business on options, risks, and any impacts related to data conversion & migration
- Demonstrated ability to manage project priorities and deliverables
- Provide overall guidance and leadership to project in the areas of Data Architecture, Conversion, Migration, and Integration
- Intermediate knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL scripting, databases, data structures, and data types/formats
- Experience defining data objects, models and data definitions for Financial business systems by mapping its various components as required for Data Migration/Conversion/Integration.

SKILL MATRIX - Preferred Skills:
- Oracle ERP & Fusion certification and experience with data migration
- Some experience with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and practices
- Experience with a legacy Financial ERP data extraction (Oracle, Peoplesoft, SAP, Lawson)
- Some experience with Object Oriented Concepts, SOA, and Web Services (REST, SOAP)
- Experience with Data Warehousing & common practices
- Experience with Oracle Fusion data loading using File Based Loader
- Experience with Oracle ICS/iPaaS and Cloud Data Integration platform
- Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, Oracle BI, and Smartview
