ETL DATA ARCHITECTS with Financial Services Experience:-
Location:- Tampa FL
Duration:- 1 year
Data Architect will work closely with the Data Architecture team with the primary responsibility of working on enterprise class data initiatives. The Data Architect will primarily be responsible for designing databases which are flexible and performant and which meet enterprise and industry standards. The Data Architect will work with Solution Architects to implement and govern Enterprise Data Architecture. The Data Architects role will involve working with multiple stakeholders, both Business and IT to build a holistic view of the organizations Data Architecture.
Responsibilities
Responsible for designing and delivering Flexible & Performant Databases which align with Business Goals.
Help in developing Enterprise wide guidelines/standards for Database Design.
Works with Data Engineers, DBA’s as part of Database Design and Development.
Work with Solution Architects to develop ETL/Data Integration/Data Processing Flows.
Support Minor Database Change Requests as needed.
Develop and maintain Enterprise Data Models for Enterprise Class Data Initiatives.
Support ETL Teams in Development effort if needed.
Work with Development Teams to understand and make recommendations on Proposed Database Structures and Data Flows.
EXPERIENCE Preferred/required
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or related degree and five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Expert Level working knowledge of Database Design and various Data Modeling Principles.
Extensive Experience with Oracle & SQL Server as a Database Platform.
Experience with Physical Performance Optimization of Oracle and SQL Server Databases.
Experience with using CA Erwin to develop Enterprise Data Models.
Experience with Data Warehouse Principles and Design.
Understanding of ETL/ Data Flow Principles.
Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) principles is a plus.
Financial Services Industry knowledge is important.
