Job Title: ETL Consultant
Location: St. Louis, MO
Duration: 6 months
Develop complex Talend ETL processes to load data into company data warehouse
Ability to break down business stories into smaller development components
Abililty to work in fast-pace, agile environment
Work with Business Analysts in transitioning from requirements to design.
Work with Software Engineers to implement requirements.
Responsible for software development including software, unit test plans, unit testing, QA support and post-release support
Deliverables:
Analysis and design packages (workflow analysis, data model, etc
Code conforming to documented standards
Unit test documentation
Release documentation
Estimates/Tracking actual to estimated effort
Skill sets required:
General application development (7+ years)
Talend (2-3 years preferred)
4-6 years experience in developing ETL processes
Oracle/SQL (4–6 years)
Java (2-3 years)
Familiarity with integrating data from various sources (flat files, databases, web services)
Data Modeling (2-3 years)
