Job Description :
Minimum eight years of embedded systems experience required!
The Senior Battery / Embedded Systems Engineer analyzes customer or core product requirements and develops system design solutions to be further implemented by Hardware, Software, and Mechanical engineers.
Required Skills
BSEE and 8+ years of automotive/aerospace/industrial machine embedded systems design/release/supervisory experience
Experience with control systems or mechatronic systems highly desired
Experience with Electric Vehicles and/or low voltage / high voltage batteries highly desired
Working knowledge of CAE tools such as Vector CANAlyzer and MatLab/Simulink
Responsibilities
Customer interface for the system design; Coordinate the tasks of supporting Systems Engineers; Collect and manage customer requirements for negotiation and compliance traceability; Identify and propose requirement changes to customers according to the capability of designs; Develop system architecture and behavioral design solutions according to agreed-upon customer requirements; Review and approve system test cases to ensure system design coverage; Analyze internal test failures to determine root cause and mitigation action; Re-create customer reported issues to determine root cause and mitigation action; Follow the development process and tool chain implementation to support the development quality goals
