Title : EHS Specialist
Location: Dilley, TX
Duration : Long term
The EHS Specialist is focused on the Health and Safety Support for Production and Completions Operations in S. Texas and responsible for EHS operational support, coordination, and execution in areas of policies, programs, and procedures, including, but not limited to: company EHS policies and regulatory agency compliance, program development/implementation, hazard identification, incident identification, remedial programs, risk identification/mitigation, and performance measures.
· Interface the Corporate EHS expectations with site activity
· Evaluations of contractor EHS system performance relative to regulatory requirements, contractor management system, bridging documents and contractor policies as posted on ISN
· Ensure any required training and regulatory documents are submitted to NEI
· Ensure any storm water or ground disturbance issues are reported to NEI
· Monitor & Report status of EHS contractor corrective actions
· Assist the coordination of all SIMOPS activity with the site supervisor
· Review and coordinate all permit to work activity with the site supervisor
Skills:-
· Drilling/Completions/Operations Experience (including EHS experience): 5+ Years
· EHS/Regulatory exp. : 5+ Years
· Knowledgeable of Regulatory Requirements
· Experienced in EHS management systems
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Training / Certification
· Safe Land or IADC Rig pass
· First Aid/CPR
· OSHA 10 hr.
· LOTO
· Confined Space
· Hazcom
· Work may involve moderate to heavy physical activity and exposure to outside weather conditions
· Extensive travel to various field locations On-call 24 hours May require respirator use
· Formal Certifications desirable (e.g., CSHO, OHST, ASP, CSP)
· PC Computer Skills Strong – Windows, Word, Excel
