EDI Support Analyst
The EDI Support Analyst role serves as the entry point into the EDI Support process. This role interacts with client''s customers and internal partners to document incoming support requests, triage support issues to downstream support teams and provide regular feedback and updates to support requestors. The role demands both good telephone customer service skills via telephone and email. MS Office tool skills is a must and Jira experience is a plus. The person in this role needs strong analytical skills to transition potentially complex customer needs into clear downstream support activity. General knowledge of the transportation Industry and EDI transaction types – 210, 211, 214, 990, 997, 204 are highly desirable.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Discussing and documenting customer and internal partner support requests via telephone hotline
Documenting customer and internal partner support requests received via email into Jira
Triaging support requests, i.e., performing analysis sufficient to pass support request to correct team for resolution
Performing downstream follow up to ensure customer needs are prioritized and worked on based on level of need. This includes proactively touching base with customers to provide follow up.
Analyzing customer requests and resolving to actionable EDI work requests
Conducting initial support request research that provides information for downstream BA resolution. This could be a recurring discussion between the Intake Analyst and BA.
Participate in a self-directed team environment; collaborate with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Required Education: High school diploma
Minimum Required Experience: At least 3-5 years working in technical customer service environments
Desirable Education/Experience: Some college or college degree, a plus
Technical Competencies
Basic Computer Skills –
o Proficiency with Windows applications and the Microsoft Office application suite.
o Familiarity with modern data analyst systems for an enterprise workplace.
o Quickly learns and achieves proficiency in new software applications as needed.
Other Technical / Computer Skills -
o Ability to learn internal company software applications applicable to position/business unit; especially Jira
o Understands and is familiar with the most widely known and emerging tools, technologies and social applications
