EDI Coordinator
Location: Franklin, TN
Duration: 6 months
Description:
The EDI Coordinator (contractor) serves as a lead for all EDI communication between internal users, external trading partners, and external EDI communications providers for client.
He/she will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting with new and existing trading partners to solve communication issues.
He/she also serves as a technical consultant on application development for transactional processing.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Maintains the Trusted Link/BizManager EDI systems.
- Tests new/existing trading partner data maps.
- Monitors communication session status and resolves technical communication issues.
- Tracks and resolves EDI production system issues.
- Develops and maintains queries and reports for proper operational procedures.
- Gathers business requirements from internal business units and/or trading partners.
- Prepares business and technical specifications for interface with internal systems.
- Participates in application software upgrades.
- Coordinates EDI related activities for the business.
- Maintains EDI documentation.
- Grows EDI volume throughout the business.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Coordinates 24/7 on call schedule for production issues with EDI Analyst.
- Daily point of contact for EDI inquiries and trouble tickets.

Key Functional Skills/Knowledge
- Familiar with ERP systems (PRMS/AS400 a plus)
- Familiar with the 856 ASN hierarchal structures
- Minimum A. S. Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a technical EDI role
- Minimum 1 year experience with Inovis Trusted Link , Biz Manager 400 and Visual Mapper software
- Project management and organizational skills
- Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with of X12, UCS, and VICS standards
- Familiar with data communications protocols
- Familiar with TCP/IP and firewalls
- Minimum 3 years experience with both VAN and AS2 technologies
- MS Excel
