Job Description :
EDI Coordinator responsible for defining and executing EDI strategy with customers and internal stakeholders. Key internal customers are Customer Logistics/Service, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Transportation/Logistics.

Executing EDI strategy (EDI Portfolio Management below) consists of doing business analysis for various EDI opportunities with customers and internal transactions and defining the prioritization of those opportunities as well as, which should not be pursued.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Logistics EDI Support
Proactively manage EDI Order errors
Troubleshoot errors in EDI transactions and transmissions to understand root cause and recommend process and/or system changes
Assist in capturing and defining requirements for new enhancements and execute testing
Coordinate, configure, and test EDI implementations with new customers


AR EDI Support
Proactively manage EDI Invoice errors
Troubleshoot errors in EDI transactions and transmissions to understand root cause and recommend process and/or system changes
Assist in capturing and defining requirements for new enhancements and execute testing


EDI Portfolio Management
Define and evolve EBF EDI strategy and lead with customers to execute against it
Review customer requests to start EDI transactions, perform cost-benefit analysis understand platform options (B2B, Itrade, etc), prioritize requests
Based on prioritization, co-ordinate and implement EDI transactions
Manage costs and reduce total costs over time
Assist in testing for EDI infrastructure upgrades (eg. Webmethods upgrade)
Proactively identify and recommend process/system improvements, enhancements and extensions in EDI applications, interfaces and mappings
Through above, with stakeholders, set with and deliver annual targets to increase % of customers and transactions executed via EDI vs manually
Maintains specific departmental master data needed to support EDI functionality and the processing of sales orders, shipment confirmations and invoices
Develops and updates end-user documentation, Business Process Reference Guides, Standard Operating Procedures, and Training Materials as needed

PREFERRED CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Previous SAP experience required
Produce business experience preferred
Cross-functional experience across IT, Customer Service (high-volume inbound call centers), Operations, and Sales preferred
Experience with iTrade and similar EDI VAN portals

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and analytical skill
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal including the ability to translate technical information to a broad, end-user community
Capacity to easily interact with all levels of the business and to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Ability to apply a disciplined, logical, and comprehensive approach to problem solving
High degree of initiative and ownership
Strong attention to detail for both accuracy and content
Judgment to resolve issues with the appropriate sense of urgency
Skill set which allows one to both identify an issue and implement the solution while working as part of a team or as an individual contributor
Ability to maintain productivity and professionalism while under pressure to meet strict deadlines and balance multiple priorities
Experienced in conducting cost benefit analysis
