Must have prior AX consulting experience with strongimplementation experience. Projects are located across the US so we are open tolocation since position will be remote?Summary of Position: The Consultant will be part of one or multiple teams that will use problemsolving skills to develop and implement Dynamics AX solutions for Clientcustomers utilizing Client Methodology. The majority of the Consultant timewill be spent executing tasks related to customer solution delivery. TheConsultant ensures that all activities are carried out in an efficient,cost-effective manner. The Consultant will also have responsibility forleading/managing a portion of the practice or project team including team memberdevelopment and coaching, resource management, and administrative tasks relatedto those team members.The Consultant acts as a bridge between all departmentswithin the AX Practice, including Sales and Customer Support. The Consultantserves as an internal subject matter expert and supports all company activitiesincluding but not limited to system implementations, integrations, and processconsultations. The Consultant will be expected to participate in team buildingand to develop team and customer relationships. The Consultant will proactivelylook for ways to keep all time productive and will use non-customer time forpersonal training, internal projects and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: Functional and #149; Utilizes applicable Client Eclipse Methodology phases, activities and tasksto deliver quality work products for clearly defined projects in one of thefollowing areas - Analysis, Design, Testing, Implementation, Support andMaintenance. and #149; Understands customer needs. Performs gap analysis between packagefunctionality and customer requirements. and #149; Familiar with all aspects of a customer''s general business and #149; Full understanding of documentation standards, and able to create allstandard project documentation. and #149; Responds promptly and professionally to customer requests or inquiriesseeking guidance from Project or Practice Management as appropriate and #149; QA''s project efforts and documentation to ensure projectdecisions/deliverables are sound and #149; May assist on executive level of QA of non-related projects and #149; Trains users on new processes and product and #149; May be expected to perform project management duties on smaller, less complexprojects (develop project plans, manage budget/actual and scope of work,approval of project-related T and E) and #149; Provides excellent service to internal and external customers. Keepscustomers up-to-date on the progress of the service they are receiving andchanges that may effect them. and #149; Prioritizes customer issues and addresses most pressing concerns and #149; Utilizes both formal and informal channels to facilitate the progress ofwork. Interprets and integrates multifaceted information from varied sources ona range of complex issues. and #149; Actively establishes relationships with all levels within the customerorganization and #149; Maintains continuous, open, consistent professional communication withcustomers, peers and management. Canidentify and help design customizations, workaround, or enhancements requiredto meet customer needs. and #149; Leads project teams through design workshops and pilot environments and #149; Develops data conversion and testing strategies and #149; May perform product demonstrations Minimum Requirements - Education, Skill and Abilities: and #149; Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting, Business with an Accounting Focus, MIS and #149; Minimum 6 years'' experience implementing AX''s including AX2012 or D365. and #149; Intermediate to expert experience with core business processes such asaccounting, distribution, manufacturing and #149; Intermediate to expert functional ability in all AX financial, distributionor retail modules and #149; Experience with reporting tools: SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal,Report Writer and #149; Experience with integration tools and 3rd party add on modules and #149; Knowledge of AX customization tools required and #149; Minimum 1 year experience working in a virtual environment and #149; Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and #149; Excellent communication and relationship building skills and #149; Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and #149; Strong time management and organizational skills Preferred Requirements- Education, Skill and Abilities: and #149; Master''s Degree in Accounting, Business with an Accounting Focus, MIS and #149; CPA a plus and #149; APICS Certification a plus and #149; Additional experience with Dynamics AX Distribution, Manufacturing,HR/Payroll, Project Accounting, Retail and /or Field Service modules apreferred and #149; Experience with other Dynamics solutions (AX, SL, NAV, CRM) a plus and #149; Minimum 6 years consulting organization experience preferred and #149; Experience managing people in a specific functional area and #149; Large Consulting/Big Four consulting experience Working Environment: and #149; Office/Home Environment or Customer Site and #149; Up to 75 % travel dependent on practice and geography of project assignment.May include overnight or additional driving time. 100% travel can be expectedin smaller defined timeframes.
