Job Description :
We are looking to looking to hire a technical analyst/senior developer, this is a new role
Responsibilities
Produce high quality, technically sound, scalable software solutions across the Microsoft technology stack and for our main accounting system – Dynamics AX 2012 R3
Solve challenging business problems and own development deliverables end-to-end, including unit testing
Design, develop, and consume APIs for integrations to/from Dynamics AX, custom applications and vendor/cloud solutions
Understand functional requirements as written by business analysts and accounting team members
Collaborate with business analysts and end users on best approaches for new functionality
Willing and able to shift between various technical roles – developer, system admin, build & deployment manager, source code admin, etc.
Prepare and manage test environments for Dynamics AX 2012 R3
Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
College or university degree in computer science, information systems, finance, accounting and/or equivalent work experience
Knowledge & Experience
Software/Systems/Processes (ideally 3-5+ years)
o Microsoft technology stack, SQL Server, .NET, C#, Visual Studio Team Services (must have)
o Dynamics AX 2012 R3 X++ development (must have)
o Powershell scripting (definite plus)
o Microsoft Azure and cloud based design/development (definite plus)
o Web development – ASP.NET, javascript, & web design patterns/frameworks (plus)
o Other ERP or Accounting systems (plus)
Business and Problem Solving (ideally 3-5+ years)
o Experience in private equity, alternative asset management, or investment management (preferred)
o Experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
