Dynamic 365 Developer
Rosemont, IL

The Dynamic 365 Developer is responsible for strategic implementation, integration and maintenance of IT vendor applications used by this client. These applications are implemented across Finance, HR and Supply chain space using different vendor technologies like Microsoft, Tibco, IBM EDI, Oracle, Workday etc.
What you will be doing:
Configures software packages, codes applications, interface programs, updates code to address defects and enhancements.
Maintain, tune, and repair applications in proactive manner to keep them performing according to technical, business, and functional specifications.
Work directly with USF end users, IT staff, or 3rd party technology staff to design solutions or resolve issues.
Works with minimal supervision.
Develops system requirement specifications for medium to large program segments.
Develops Technical Design Document.
Codes applications, databases, interface programs.
Conduct peer review (Unit Test
Creates Unit Test cases.
Provides application support as part of an on call rotation.
Ensure department and business standards are always met applying best practices.
Create required HPSM RFC documents, execute, document, and review test cases to ensure applications and environment meet functional and performance requirements.
Perform pre and post-installation Application Readiness Reviews.
Mentors more junior members of the team.
B.S. in Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience required.
5 years prior development work in Microsoft technologies.
3 Years plus developing experience using .net and C
2 years development experience using X++.
Prior experience with customizing Dynamic 365 using X++ and C
Prior experience working with VSTS (visual studio team services
Experience with developing Web API’s using OData protocol.
Knowledge and Experience of Dynamics 365 Cloud and Retail Build and Deployment (Both Manual and LCS
Experience with upgrading Dynamic 365 including Binary Fixes and Hot fixes.
Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of Business and IT management.
Ability to negotiate acceptable solutions to complex problems across multiple business and/or technical areas and vendors.
Ability to organize own work and work from or generate specifications.
Excellent communication, organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects.
Experience with formal change control.
Experience with SQL server reporting.
Experience as a developer working on Retail POS systems.
Knowledge of extensions in retail
