They are like a mini hedge fund we so we need really solid super star candidates with .NET full stack development with similar experience

Position : .NET full stack development
Location : Cambridge MA (Local only)
Duration : 9-12 month assignment and extendable
Rate : $85hour C2C

Our client manages the endowment for long term investment returns for one of the most prestigious universities in the U.S. The client is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their Technology Team in the Boston, MA area. The role is to influence and assist the greenfield development of a new data platform to support investment portfolio analytics. This individual will work with the team to review legacy infrastructure and integration, and subsequently determine not only the architecture for the new database, but also, new applications and processes for migrating data into this new platform.

The Full Stack Software Engineer role will be a highly impactful role and will influence the overall architecture of the application. This is an opportunity to make a significant difference in the operation of data management, which is the hive of information related to the investment of their endowment and retirement funds.

THE DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create new applications to support data migration into a newly constructed platform
Collaborate with the team to review legacy infrastructure and legacy data integration, and create resulting next generation applications for the new platform
Support the greenfield development of a new platform by determining organizational needs, coordinating stakeholders, and utilizing best practices to influence the overall architecture of the database
Will report to the Data Engineering Manager

THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB:
5+ years of development experience
Solid T-SQL (SQL) development
SQL Server Data tools
Solid Test driven development / behaviour driven development
TFS / VSTS (CI/CD features)
MVC
C# / ASP.Net
MSTest
Entity Framework
Agile / Scrum
Developing Web application development.
Developing Windows services.
Developing real-time / event based applications.
Developing data integrating applications.
Service oriented architecture / micro services / Web services

General experience (2 – 5 years)

OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant coursework in math, finance, computer science required
Strong problem solving skills; ability to manage time effectively and execute successfully under minimal supervision.
Effective communication and people skills. Ability to work closely and effectively with technical and non-technical users.
Discretion and judgement dealing with confidential information or subject matter
