Job Description :
A client of ours is seeking a .NET Developer for a 3-4 month Contract to hire position in Dallas, Texas. Required Skills:
- 8+ years C# .NET Development experience
- MUST have Strong SQL Server experience
- MUST have Entity Framework experience
- Strong design/architecture experience
- Good MVC experience
- Experience utilizing Cloud computing (AWS, Rackspace, Azure)
Preferred Skills:
- Azure Cloud
- 4 year degree
- Applicable certification and/or training
- Sitecore
Responsibilities:
Customer is moving an existing application off of their legacy ATG platform onto a new .NET/AWS platform. Must be able to help to design/architect the solution and then build it.
Design, write code, debug, perform system and applications testing, and support the operations team with builds to QA and production release.
Unit test functionality developed, check against business requirements and adhere to AHA guidelines and best practices.
Interface with business analyst and business users, to understand the requirements clearly and come up with optimal solution.
Work with the technical lead to review the implementation design before any development.
Assist the management with estimating the level of effort for the functionality to be developed.
Meet the timelines agreed to on a consistent basis.
Provide mentoring on an ongoing basis to junior team members.
Will be able to multi task and switch tasks at short notice.
Obtain knowledge proactively on new systems identified by AHA Tech Leads/Dev Managers.
Develop documentation for all the systems changes made by the resources. This can include design documentation, database diagram, class diagrams, flow diagram and other relevant documentation artifacts.
Participate in meetings that the resources are invited to by the AHA team members on the projects.
Provide day-to-day operational support when requested.
Perform cross-browser testing to ensure UI code of all templates are compatible with required browsers and does not produce aesthetic issues on agreed upon devices.
Design and write code that follows AHA guidelines and adheres to best practices and web standards
