Job Description:
Work as a Programmer/Developer Analyst with the Vocational Rehabilitation Systems team in data mapping, data migration as well as developing and implementing a MVC .Net application.
Develop Web based .NET MVC applications: Work with the VRS development team to create data mappings from an Microsoft Access database, data migration scripts, execute and validate migration scripts results. Additional work may include development of software applications. These applications shall adhere to VRS development standards.
Perform other duties as assigned. Work is performed under supervision of VR application manager with some latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment within the parameters of established policies and procedures.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
5 Experience developing and maintaining .Net MVC 3, MVC 4 or MVC 5 Web based applications using Visual Studio 2010 or Visual Studio 2012
5 Experience in creating and maintaining complex SQL. Experience writing queries involving Group By, Having Clauses.
4 Experience optimizing complex SQL. Experience in improving execution and performance of complex application based SQL.
4 A very clear understanding of Object Oriented programming including Polymorphism, Inheritance, Interfaces etc.
4 Experience in designing applications, including defining Object model, Business Interfaces, Object Database Interaction.
4 Experience with a complete life cycle development, including migration issues, of an Enterprise
application.
4 Experience with EIR accessibility and required specification (i.e. US Section 508 and WCAG2.0) and working on tasks that implemented solutions which were tested for and adhered to those standards and specifications.
4 Skilled with code migration supporting multiple environments.
4 Experience with T-SQL.
4 SQL Server 2012 and 2016
4 Experience with importing and exporting data to and from SQL Server & Microsoft Access databases and data migrations
4 Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS
4 Knowledge of accessibility requirements including basic Section 508
4 Knowledge of adaptive software including Jaws, ZoomText and Dragon Naturally Speaking
Strong Strong verbal and written communication skills.
