Job Description:
· Minimum 10+ years of experience in application development with technology used at Sharp NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ColdFusion, SOAP, Rest, git, JSON, XML others)
· Experience in application design patterns and principles, development methodologies, tools, and best practices
· Demonstrate understanding of as they relate to service delivery including availability and performance
· Demonstrate understanding of secure programming concepts as they relate to web application development with ability to define solutions that mitigate risks including but not limited to the OWASP Top 10
· Demonstrate understanding of PCI and HIPPA compliance requirements and ability to design and develop solutions that conform to those requirements
· Define, document, and communicate architectural standards for custom web applications
· Lead design efforts to existing web applications and build new applications
· Technical oversight of onshore and offshore web development efforts
· Conduct code reviews to ensure that standards are followed
· Convert functional specifications into technical specifications
· Collaborate with Project Managers to establish and adhere to reasonable project timelines
· Assist with troubleshooting and performance tuning to identify root cause and recommend solutions
· Work with senior leadership to implement the architecture direction
· Experience with complex database design concepts and the ability to determine the best solution based on individual project requirements and goals
· Experience interfacing with both internal and 3rd party APIs as well as designing and developing new APIs as part of a services oriented architecture
· Conducts and coordinates research activities/proof-of-concept on leading edge and emerging technologies
· Provide mentorship for junior staff members and assist them with their technical challenges.
· Provide continuous technical leadership and ownership of the architecture throughout the software delivery
· Provide long-term technical strategy, vision, and roadmap
· Partner with Infrastructure Teams to ensure solutions are highly available, monitored, and sized for planned capacity
· Partner with Security Management to ensure comprehensive security practices are continuously employed throughout the software delivery process
· Partner with Risk and Compliance to ensure appropriate controls are implemented and evidence of compliance is retained
