Job Description:
The project is Xamarin.Forms mobile application. This is relatively new technology for the client. The tech stack most likely includes: Xamarin.Forms, .NET Core, EF Core, XAML, Prism for MVVM, Autofac for IOC container, Moq for Unit test. The candidate will need to be strong that can bring past project experience as client’s developers are relatively new to this as well.
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related technical field; or equivalent work experience. (Typically six years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor’s degree Six years or more of demonstrated experience in business analyst, programmer analyst and/or systems analyst role. Job-related experience (from options below)
Knowledge of the gas industry is a plus. Experience with project methodologies including project management tools, estimating, and documentation of requirements, use cases and test plans. Effective oral and written communications skills, including presentation, training and interpersonal skills. Effective analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Experience Required:
· Six years or more of demonstrated experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to design and develop web applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, and JavaScript.
· Two or more years of architectural design experience using the MVC design pattern with Microsoft technologies.
· Experience with application modernization and technology footprint reduction by combining legacy application functionality into new greenfield/modified applications.
· Experience with mobile development, test driven development, architectural design documentation, agile development practices and reporting tools Crystal Reports or Business Objects is a plus.
· Three years or more of demonstrated experience using Microsoft SQL Server.
· Experience with Oracle or with analyzing/resolving database related performance issues is a plus.
· Experience with Geographic Information Systems including any of the following is a plus: ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, ArcGIS API for Javascript, ArcPy, Geoprocessing, ArcObjects, ArcEngine.
