Job Description :
Stock JD: Primary duties of this position would be to assist in programming application interfaces between the client''s existing applications like INFOR 10 where appropriate PII (Personally Identifiable Information) is maintained.
Other duties of this position would be to participate in the design, programming, testing, and deployment of application interfaces in production between client''s applications (PII
All work items will be prioritized by the business.
All assignments would be made by technical Leads in the Unit.
Examples of utilizing this application would be for Mayo employees to check their PTO via a chat function.
The application would need to check with various databases and compile these numbers as they are not calculated and stored in one database.
That is the need for querying databases and working with interfaces.
Another example would be changing an address.
Responsibilities:
Creating restful web APIs for the Chatbot
The software is used as a service which is hosted outside of Mayo’s firewall which is exposed to Akana API interface
Learn Akana and team up with Mayo person to learn security functions
Working with development and business teams
Self-sufficient development
Attending meetings, displaying strong communication skills and business acumen
Soft skills: Looking for a candidate that has worked in a corporate or enterprise environment, and can manage the formalities that may go along with it.
Selling points: Pilot program and if successful, could use the developers help to fully create.
Team dynamics and business: Will be working with someone from the Interface team who is responsible for Akana, and also with the HR development team, who is hiring this resource.
