Will develop and maintain enterprise-level software solutions on the Client delivery team. Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards, technical design and test-driven development practices.
Successful candidates will be self-starters and team players and will have experience working on Agile (preferably Scrum) teams. They will have a comprehensive knowledge of Web and WinForms front-end and back-end development tools, technologies, practices and standards, along with a track record of delivering high-quality, solutions in a timely and effective manner.
Software engineering responsibilities include:
Builds, tests, deploys and maintains complex web-based & client-server applications using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, HTML, Java, JavaScript and other programming and scripting languages.
Assist the testing team in creating and implementing test automation.
Assists with the planning, implementing and testing of all system patches and upgrades
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field and at least three years of directly-related work experience in a professional position in software development or a related field required.
Skills and Requirements:
At least three years of solid hands-on experience in .NET platform development.
Strong understanding of the VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC technologies, Java, SOA, SQL and related optimization techniques.
Strong experience in creating and implementing Automated Unit, Functional and Integration tests.
Strong understanding of IIS.
Must have in-depth knowledge and experience with core Microsoft .NET technologies including: WCF, WPF, WF, LINQ and Entity Framework.
Must have strong knowledge in one or more of the following: HTML, JavaScript, DOM, jQuery, AJAX, CSS/CSS2, XML, XHTML and DHTML.
Experience achieving accessibility and security compliance on .NET applications is highly desired.
Knowledge and experience of DevOps and Cloud technologies (AWS) is highly desired. AWS Certification is a plus.
Test-driven development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery experience is preferred.
Software testing experience is desired.
Experience working in an Agile development environment (familiarity with Scrum or Kanban is a plus
Effective communication skills are a must along with a strong customer service orientation.
