Job Summary
This is a twelve-month contract-to-hire opportunity - our client outside of Pittsburgh, PA is looking to build up a team of full-stack .NET developers. The team will be building out a brand new application based on an existing model within cloud technologies.
Top Skills:
Mid or senior-level full-stack development experience within .NET 4.5+ NET Core is strongly preferred), JavaScript, Angular/Typescript, and SQL Server
Cloud experience within Azure or AWS is preferred (will be using Pivotal Cloud Foundry)
New development as opposed to maintenance and support
Candidate should be experienced with multi-tier application, design patterns and development of server side web application software across multiple browser platforms
On a day to day basis, the developer will be working with a large team to build out web applications. The day to day duties will include:
1) The development and design of web applications based on .NET technologies
2) Developing new applications from design specs and developing new functionality in existing products
3) Strong focus on middle tier and back end portion of apps where one will be responsible for writing C# logic, web services, XML data manipulation, and heavy database work
