Primary job function:
We are looking to hire a Software Developer to join our Technology team. Technology team develops and supports Front/Middle/Back office systems. Position offers deep exposures to all aspects of the systems development. Person will report to Chief Data & Analytics Officer and be interfacing with all business teams (Trading, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Investor Relations and Risk management) to design and implement solutions. Position offers plenty of opportunities for growth both in acquiring new technology skills, and business domain knowledge.
Required Qualities and Skills:
4-8 years of solid development experience
.Net, C#, Winforms/WPF, SQL and Windows Services
Sql Server and solid relational database knowledge
Experience in financial services industry, preferably with some trading floor exposure
Problem solver with ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Have the right to work in the USA
Desired Skills:
Understanding of some or all of the following asset classes (Futures and Options, Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX)
Some Knowledge of Reconciliation processing (trade/cash settlement)
Some Knowledge of FIX messaging protocols
Some Knowledge of Bloomberg desktop/server APIs
