They have multiple Legacy and newer applications. They are primarily used for data that comes from mining and machines from the field. Essentially they are reporting style applications, the data gets aggregated and sent over. There is also HR/ Internal applications. A lot of their legacy apps are desktop/WinForms.
Currently they have 6 Developers (Senior level) that sit onsite. They just lost 2 of them and this is a backfill for both.
Good communication is very important, as they will be speaking with the BA’s and may have to go to onsite and talk with the users.
There are some VB.Net legacy apps but bug fixes are only thing that they need to do on it
Must haves:
Great Communication
C#
MVC knowledge
JavaScript- understand different libraries such as JQuery etc.
Able to query SQL databases (This is a very standard skill)
Pluses:
Desktop experience (Winforms or if they have WPF/XAML- even better since they have a few apps that are using XAML/WPF

Required Skills
• 5+ years of experience application development on Microsoft .NET
• Experienced in Windows Services, Windows Forms and Web development
• Strong primary knowledge of C#
• Strong knowledge in MVC, SOAP ASMX web services, REST API
• Strong knowledge in OOP
• TFS and/or Git source code control systems
• Working knowledge of Oracle PLSQL/ANSI SQL
