Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of work experience and technical training
3+ years’ experience in a technical production or application support environment
Understanding of data workflows
Strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS
Ability to write programs in VB.NET or C# using visual studio
Reporting software like Crystal Reports of SSRS
Ability to gather end user requirements and set priorities to successfully implement new processes
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Nice to have
Knowledge of EDI 834 and 837 file formats or similar
Exposure and general understanding of Healthcare claims processing
Knowledge of HIPAA rules and ANSI 5010 transaction standards
Knowledge of Healthcare Business Systems
Understanding of internet applications and networks
Experience managing customer and/or vendor relationships
Responsibilities
Analyze range of data processing problems
Understand user requirements and procedures
Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
Determine cost and compatibility for new systems
Establish an implementation schedule for new systems
Consult with managers to implement new computer systems
