Description:
Programmer Analyst will develop new websites, upgrade existing rich client application and websites and constantly improve the performance and security of those applications and websites. The job requires skills to work with .NET technologies using C# and VB.NET, and SQL server.
In addition, the programmer/analyst is responsible for assisting in detailing specifications for those applications and assisting in documenting them to ensure they are built properly in the first place. This person also must have an eagerness to learn about new technologies and share that knowledge with the rest of the staff.
Programmer/Analyst position resides within the Information Technology Department, along with the Quality Assurance, Support and Production Departments.
The Programmer/Analyst is expected to be able to represent themselves, the department and the company with the highest level of professionalism and maintain a positive attitude.
Required:
5-7 years of recent experience with .NET technologies (C# and VB.NET
5-7 years of recent SQL server development including complex objects.
2-4 years of SQL reporting experience is preferred.
Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications.
Must have proper understating of web application security.
Redeveloping existing systems by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
Knowledge of third party controls (DevExpress and Aspose) is desired.
Ability to operate with minimal supervision, evaluate risk and make appropriate decisions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Should be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
High energy self-starter who is enthusiastic and motivated to create growth opportunities.
Ability to communicate and present clearly and work well with others in the organization.
Familiarity with using version control systems.
Assisting in creating technical specifications and test plans, as requested.
Experience with HTML, CSS, jQuery and user interface design.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Healthcare business experience is a plus.
