Design and develop JSON-based RESTful web services and enhance existing web services with web APIs (REST, RPC
Good knowledge of software design principles – OOD, OOP, TDD, SOLID, and GoF Patterns – including experience with software development methodologies.
Ability to communicate the design and implementation of software systems including relevant strengths/weaknesses and reasons for implementation decisions.
5+ years of .NET coding experience and C#, including ASP.NET 4.0 and 4.5 frameworks., ASP.NET MVC and WebAPI, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns
Strong data modeling and SQL Server experience, MSSQL data management including stored procedures, views, indexing, table functions, and performance
Data-driven applications utilizing significant relational database engines as part of the overall application architecture.
Understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, jQuery
Experience writing automated unit test and integration tests
Understanding of web hosting and basic server administration
Understanding of Agile software development principles along with experience participating in a scrum-based delivery team
Knowledge of Telerik Kendo UI is added advantage
3 years of experience with TFS version control, automatic deployments
ability to facilitate change management with teams
Ability to work within diverse, global, virtual teams
Functional :
Exposure to either of Insurance, Surety, Financial Services domains, Requirement gathering, Agile Scrum project experience
