Our client is looking for a Full-Stack .NET Developer to join their team supporting a new NIH contract. This work will specifically be focused on enhancing and building new features on an application that houses public information on Opiod-related deaths.
This person will be joining a small team sitting on-site in Hyattsville, MD. This person will be responsible for full-stack .NET development as well as participating in client interaction, requirements gathering, and testing duties.
Job Responsibilities
As a .NET Developer you will work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
Specific duties:
* Designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting application software that is delivered on time and
within budget
* Making recommendations towards the development of new code OR reuse of existing code
* Ensuring solutions are aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural
standards
* Participating in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy versus
build recommendations
* Applying experience and knowledge in systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance and integration
methodologies to develop quality technical solutions
Minimum Qualifications
This .Net developer position is a great match for a software developer with enterprise level experience with C#,
ASP.Net and / or VB.NET. We are also looking for a team player that can easily interface with clients, design patterns,
and work with formalized methodologies.
Additional requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering preferred
* 7+ years of experience with C#, Asp.Net, VB.Net or other .net related technologies
* Stable work history with demonstrated experience in the full software life cycle
* Microsoft SharePoint design and development experience
* Back end - SQL server 2005, 2008, 2013 experience.
* Front end - Java script and HTML
* Agile/Scrum certification
* N-Tier development experience
