Required Skills:
72 Months of experience in creating secure web applications in Microsoft .Net in a team environment.
36 months experience programming applications in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), MVC, JQuery, JSON, and CNET, using .NET Framework 4.0 or above
36 months experience developing, maintaining, troubleshooting and deploying BizTalk applications
60 months experience in developing stored procedures, functions, packages in MS SQL Server 2008 or higher using TSQL
12 months experience administering, monitoring and troubleshooting BizTalk servers.
6 Months of experience in development using Agile/Scrum
24 months experience writing unit tests
60 months experience in designing and creating relational database structures in SQL Server to meet business needs
12 months experience maintaining application code in Team Foundation Server
Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related field, from an accredited institution.
Department: New York State Board of Elections
Description: The New York State Board of Elections requires a new system to manage candidates for public office and to meet campaign finance law requirements. The current system is 20+ years old and is obsolete. The new system will be implemented using Microsoft technologies including Internet, .Net and SQL Server.
Responsibilities:
The consultant will serve as a .NET Developer implementing the new CAPAS FIDAS system including:
Analysis, design, prototype/wireframes, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team
Maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work
Mentor SBOE staff on .Net implementation
Write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions
Design, Maintain, Monitor and troubleshoot Biztalk specific functionality in BOE programs
Assist Systems unit in monitoring, managing and troubleshooting Biztalk servers.
