Qualifications required:
Programming - Knowledge/competencies in the following programming languages and database technologies:
At least one modern relational database management system (such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL)
Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
At least one procedural language that incorporates SQL (such as T-SQL or PL/SQL)
Stored Procedures
Query Tuning
Software development concepts and techniques
At least one modern programming language (such as C#, VB.NET, Java, C++, etc
Algorithm creation and analysis
ASP.NET MVC
HTML
CSS
JavaScript
XML
XSLT
SSRS Reports
Microsoft Office Suite
Software testing protocols
Candidate Qualifications.
Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Senior Level experience in database programming, specifically with SQL Server with an understanding of database security, Transact-SQL programming, general administration and relational database concepts.
Senior Level experience developing web service client software, preferably using # or .
Senior Level experience with Crystal Reports or SQL Server Reporting Services.
Broad range of experience to include experience building windows services or scheduled utilities
Specific Requirements
Design, code, program, test, modify, install, implement, document, maintain and support new and existing applications software.
Develop detailed plans and requirements for software enhancements, upgrades and functional changes, and new reports.
Work with agency personnel to ensure plans are consistent with office and agency strategic plans, resource allocation, and business rules.
Assess system performance, identify problems, and conduct preliminary analyses to help determine the appropriate resolution.
Collaborate with shared service providers to coordinate development efforts when systems impacted.
