Position: .Net Developer
Location: Denver, CO
Contract: 6 Months - Contract to Hire
Interview:
1) 30-minute phone screen
2) One-hour technical screen (likely phone)
3) Final 30-minute touch-base
you are an experienced Back-end Application Developer who is passionate about innovation to help us build engaging and intelligent applications. You will work with complex data models and database structures. Work with a development team in the design, development, testing, tuning and implementation of database applications. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
Architect, design, install, create architecture documentation, and perform operational support for Azure cloud and on-premise database environments
Modify/Create/maintain and optimize ETL processes using SSIS
Strong understanding of REST API principles and best practices to develop from the ground up a modular architecture to support a web API
Determine appropriate indexing for new stored procedures and poorly performing queries.
Perform capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases.
Viewed as a technical expert and is critical resource across multiple disciplines and mentors other team members and application developers on technical solutions
Implement security for all databases
Perform Tuning and Optimization; troubleshoots and resolves database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues, index management and statistics.
The Requirements
5+ years of experience in a backend .NET / C# role
5+ years of experience with MS SQL Server, Indexes, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, etc.
Proficiency in SSIS
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with implementation, optimization, and support of Azure SQL
Experience developing Web APIs, designing and consuming RESTful services, working in a Service-Oriented Architecture and building Microservices
Knowledgeable of cloud and hybrid-cloud implementations including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
Experience with PowerShell scripting, Azure DevOps/VSTS/Git Branching
Understanding of Agile software development and Scrum methodologies
This role is SQL heavy but it''s also important that candidates are skilled in back-end coding in C
This role will be OT Exempt.
This role is being looked at as a potential CTH role. The conversion salary range is around $125140 (base + bonus structure Please list your candidate''s conversion salary in the submittal notes.
Candidates should be located in Denver (or surrounding areas) though they will be able to work remotely. The team rarely meets in the office (around once/month) but the preference is to have candidates in the Denver area. Please list your candidate''s location in the submittal notes.
