Skills: Demonstrated experience designing and developing multi-tier enterprise applications within medium to large size financial organizations. Experience in developing rest and SOAP-based API''s and integration with core banking systems to support consumer lending products. Demonstrated experience working with multiple teams on large/broad complex programs with multiple stakeholders. Looking for someone with extensive .NET experience.
Competencies:
Strong communication, influence, problem solving, and influence skills are a must. Must feel comfortable adjusting communication based on audience, and must be comfortable with challenging and being challenged by others when debating solutions.
Responsibilities
Working with consumer lending teams to perform the following:
- Understand the state of the current platform and how it supports the business
- Be able to effectively communicate the strengths and opportunities
- Partner with enterprise architects to align on strategic roadmap and determine how to influence in-flight and up-coming technology projects to implement.
- Partner with consumer lending technology teams to help with solution design and complete required tollgate documents needed to satisfy audit requirements.
- Partner with technology teams outside of consumer lending to design and help with integration to various core systems ex. GL
Consumer Lending Transformation and migrating to a modern cloud-based environment
- Extensive application architecture experience in consumer lending would be great
- Understanding what APIs are and can speak to them
- Partner-communication driving position, MUST be able to articulate thoughts to the team
- History of experience growing through stages of career development
- Agile environment experience 2-3 years is ideal (able to describe process)
- .Net experience
- “Decision artifacts”- can show/ explain that process
- Effective architecture diagrams
- familiar with underwriting acquisition underwriting services and default ( consumer lending stages)
- Mainframe- only needs to have knowledge of this.
Focus on newer software languages and .Net and software methodologies, and Agile
- 10-15 years in Technology
- 5-7 years Architecture
- 2-3 years financial/ consumer lending
