CUNY’s Enterprise Technology Resiliency Program
The program’s mission is to “Build Plans and Processes needed to achieve: Operational resiliency and sustainability through Contingency Planning and Recovery Capabilities for technologies that support essential academic and business functions, and deliver IT Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) guidelines and recommendations for Best Practice University-wide.”
The Projects required to support the mission include: Identification, Setup, Testing and Implementation of a viable Business Continuity Management Tool to support IT planning, document creation and plan repository, automation of processes and procedures; Systematic roll-out of BC component plans (e.g., Disaster Recovery, Incident Management & Communications, IT Contingency, and Cybersecurity Incident Response Plans) across the University (24 schools and central IT administration), Testing, Training, Awareness Programs and Exercises.
Candidates should have at least 60 months experience and a majority of the following should apply:
Each candidate should fill out the months of experience they have for each item in the table
1. 60 months experience working in technology focused BC and DR planning, activations and execution #of months 20
2. 60 months experience working in an IT focused, business continuity, disaster recovery, or risk management position as either a certified MBCP, CBCP, ABCP, CRISC or CISA #of months 10
3. 36 months experience working as a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planner or program leader in a University or College setting #of months 10
4 Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer Science, Research and Analysis, and/or Management #of months 10
5. 60 month experience working with enterprise level IT infrastructure, including: systems, telecommunications, applications, networks, Data Centers and virtual environments #of months 10
6. 24 months experience with conducting Business Impact & Risk Analysis #of months 10
7. 24 months experience leading or managing the implementation and daily requirements of a BCM solution or automation tool #of months 10
