Summary: The Director, Business Intelligence is responsible for providing insights on inventory monetization and utilization of digital advertising across set-top-box, Hulu, and various other Client apps and websites. We’re looking for a solutions-minded, analytical, and detail-oriented individual who is motivated by new challenges and brings strong people management and project management skills. This individual is comfortable in a fast-changing business environment, can oversee multiple projects spanning varied data sources and teams, and is comfortable engaging all levels of the organization. The position will be partnering closely with Strategy, Sales, and Operations Teams providing analysis and insights on Direct and Programmatic digital ad businesses, Yield Management, and new ad product initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a team of analysts and oversee team responsibilities and deliverables

2. Define KPI’s and reports for advertising initiatives and products

3. Produce digital KPI & business status dashboards and reporting platforms for internal stakeholders as well as make recommendations on new ways to present data and insights across the organization

4. Provide analysis and insights to drive recommendations for yield optimization and operational efficiencies across our ad networks and platforms

5. Design and analyze reports and drive requirements to develop long-term automated reporting solutions

6. Create decks and presentations and present to senior leadership

7. Work with multiple data sets: Adobe Analytics, FreeWheel, DFP, Hulu, Rentrak, comScore, Nielsen and answer complex questions about video consumption on all digital platforms

8. Create technical documentation

Qualifications:

· BA/BS degree (MS or PhD preferred) in Statistics or Data Science

· 5-8+ years of experience working with quantitative analysis

· 5+ years experience managing teams including analysts

· Experience in predictive modeling and analysis

· 2+ years experience in ETL implementation

· Understanding of TV Everywhere landscape and digital advertising

· Experience in ad servers such as FreeWheel or DFP

· Experience in Adobe Analytics

· Experience building Tableau (or Looker, Qlikview, Microstrategy) dashboards

· Understanding of yield optimization

· Knowledge of relational database and SQL

· Advanced Excel formula experience

· Advanced Access Database experience

· comScore, Nielsen, Rentrak experience preferred.

· Excellent communication skills
