We have immediate positions with our Financial client and are looking for Mainframe CICS System programmer. This is a right to hire position and the client is looking to convert to full-time after 6 months.
US Citizens/Permanent Residents/H-1 transfers please. No subcontracting available for these positions.
Mainframe Analyst
6 months C2H
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Familiar with IBM z/OS operating system software, such as: APF, Linklist, VSAM, LPA
Additional responsibilities also include management (SMPE) , maintenance, and upgrade of various IBM program products and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) software. Upgrades needed to SYSBII product , ROPES
Performance experience and the ability to monitor the CICS systems
Familiar with DB2 for CATS Product (CICS Automated Table System)
Experience with MRO environments as well as CICSPlex SM implementation & customization, including SYSPLEX environment
CICS Monitoring CICS dump analysis, knowledge of IPCS
Understanding of RACF, ACF2 and /or Top Secret
Bonus experience :
o CICS Event Processing
o Liberty
