LAMP DEVELOPER
Location: Columbia, MD
Duration: 6 months (Contract to hire)
The ideal candidates will have a strong programming background (computer science degree or equivalent experience) and demonstrated record of getting results for a company. You must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
The ideal candidate must have 1-3 years of experience with PHP and have used frameworks such as Laravel, YII, and Codeigniter. Comfort working with the LAMP stack is preferred. To be clear, this role would be primarily focused on building out new features in PHP and some Javascript; we do not currently have a huge need for sys admin or dev ops help.
It would be ideal to have someone onsite, but not a deal breaker if the fit is good. I Pay would be based on experience and would likely need one senior developer who can guide the 2nd developer. But probably need to hire the Sr Developer first
If the project/their work is successful we would hire them on full time. We are looking to hire soon – possibly within the next 2-3 weeks.
We would conduct a phone interview first, then in-office, assuming they are local. Our current consultant may also want to view some of their previous work so if they can send samples it would be good.
