Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is currently looking for a motivated, highly detailed, organized and outgoing individual to support one of our major nationwide clients. The successful applicant should be able to quickly adapt their knowledge to the current IT environment and be able to enhance the current systems in place. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to be understood by technical and non-technical personnel.

Job Summary:
The email developer is responsible for the hands-on coding, building, and testing of customer-facing dynamic HTML email communications. They will be responsible for the development of a comprehensive email program, entailing all aspects of email best practices including targeted/segmented content, personalized content and automated trigger emails. The role
requires strong organizational, execution and analytical skills, and extensive knowledge of email marketing including deliverability, email design / and development, email KPI’s, CAN SPAM among other operational best practices.
Essential Functions:
Experience in executing new email campaigns from initial concept through end to end coding/cid tagging within email service provider platform
Work with creative team and digital marketing team to manage email campaigns and continuously optimize based off the calendar and cadence
Q/A all aspects of emails (copy, links, tracking, UX, etc prior to sends
Design and develop operational reports to monitor performance, of all email programs which include core KPI’s including open rate, click through rate, conversion rate, revenue per send
Ensure email template/code is in responsive design
Purge non-deliverable email addresses and opt-outs and data segmentation
Develop ways to personalize email content based on customer history, targeting, A/B split testing, live content and more

Requirements:
2+ years’ experience coding complex email campaigns with a high level of personalization and understanding of the email marketing lifecycle
All applicants must be exemplary at HTML, AMPscript (Salesforce) and CSS coding for email specifically
Knowledge of both best practices and set up for marketing and transactional emails
Experience with major ESP providers – Salesforce preferred
Experience with email marketing reputation and list hygiene tools (Litmus, Return Path)
Strong quantitative skills to analyze data and make informed decisions
Extensive Omniture and Excel experience
Ability to adapt to changing and evolving business requirements and objectives
Manage timetables to ensure consistent on-time results
Capable of multi-tasking and setting priorities
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in HTML, AMPscript and CSS
Microsoft Office
Understanding of and experience working with large databases
Understanding of database table design and structure
XSLT, XML, SQL experience a plus
IBM Campaign a plus
