Job Description :
1)Strong Linux administration skills - installing packages, troubleshooting etc.
2) Strong scripting skills - BASH a MUST. One high-level language like Ruby/Python a MUST.
3) Experience with cloud-based deployments(AWS)
4) Experience with one or more configuration management systems (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt)
5) Candidate should have managed at least one of the following data stores in a production environment: Cassandra/Mongo/Elastic search/HDFS
6) Experience with ANY logging/graphing/trending/monitoring infrastructure: Nagios, Icinga, Sensu, Graphite, Statsd, Graylog, Logstash, Splunk, ELK, InfluxDB, Ganglia
7) Solid team player and quick learner. Ability to switch gears quickly due to changing requirements.
8) Experience managing a production environment.
9) Must have experience troubleshooting/managing/deploying java applications on linux.
10)Experience with NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB), Elasticsearch, Kafka, Zookeeper
Experience Level:-
8+ yrs of Linux/Unix; Very comfortable with command-line; PowerShell experience for Windows users
4+ yrs of Build/Release engineering, with proficiency in Jenkins, Git, Maven, Github
3+ yr of AWS (EC2, RDS, S3)
2+ yrs of advanced scripting - preferably Ruby, Python
3+ yrs of experience supporting a Java-based application; JVM tuning; deployment etc.
Solid BASH skills
1+ yr of MySQL
2+ NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB), Elasticsearch, Kafka, Zookeeper
