Job Description :

Use your expertise and leading practices in architecture, design and deployment of Medical Device and Medical Device Data products within AWS.

Lead a team to create state of the art DevOps excellence through elegant automation and monitoring solutions.

Collaborate with Medical Device engineers in platform engineering and support within AWS.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Create DevOps strategies to achieve company goals
Integrate and collaborate on brining DevOps solutions to life
Guide operational practices utilizing the latest AWS services
Maintain cloud platform services and associated configurations using ITIL based processes
Develop, implement and maintain rigorous cybersecurity practices
Provide economical and serviceable solutions
Review new AWS services providing senior leadership recommendations with solid rationalization
Engage customers and colleagues to assist in solving complex problems with a customer focus
Follow Quality Management System
Provide deployment cost optimization estimates and recommendations
Lead and mentor team members

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

Demonstrate deep understanding of AWS DevOps and apply prior experiences
AWS service expertise including EC2, VPC, CloudFront, S3, Aurora, Glacier, etc.
Demonstrate theory and practice of Infrastructure and Policy as Code
Must have expert level knowledge in IPV4/IPV6
DR solutions using AWS
Certificate management practices
Support development of processes and tools to achieve HITRUST certification
Troubleshooting connectivity within AWS and across the internet
Develop and support advanced data analytics solutions using AWS

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 4 years of DevOps Production experience with minimally the AWS EC2, S3, Glacier, CloudFormation, CloudWatch
Minimum 3 years of leading high-technology engineering teams
AWS Associate Certifications including Solution Architect and AWS DevOps Engineer
Experience with any of the following AWS ELB, SNS, SQS, Route53, API Gateway, Lambda, IAM, STS, Cognito, KMS, Aurora, Kinesis, Redis
Power user of scripting languages (BASH, Ruby, Javascript, KSH, PowerShell or equivalent)
Minimum of 8 years of I.T. experience with system administration, support, and/or programming
Experience with some or all of the following: Windows, Linux, Policies, Performance and Log Management
Experience creating high-technology solutions for Analytics preferred
Implementation experience with ISO 27001, SSAE 16, HITRUST or equivalent preferred
Medical Device or technology company experience preferred
AWS Professional Certifications preferred
