Job Duties & Responsibilities:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will:
Create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Ruby, and other scripting languages
Build and maintain infrastructure services to detect problems, monitor health and performance of applications and services
Work extensively with continuous integration systems and are able to translate that understanding into workable pipelines and tools including orchestration
Drive the DevOps culture, pushing quality into the hands of engineers enabled by automated testing and continuous integration
Support the daily operations of the IT/Tech department
Take part in agile ceremonies to estimate and execute programming projects
Lead technical projects from requirements to design to implementation to operations.

Qualifications/Required skills
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field required
9+ years’ experience total working in a software or network engineering capacity in a hands on manner
Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a mixed environment
Minimum 3 years of hands on OS scripting (Windows, iOS, RHEL, and CentOS) experience using Bash, PowerShell, Ruby, JavaScript or similar scripting languages
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an Agile environment using agile tracking tools such as Rally, Jira, VersionOne
Working understanding of web scripting languages such as PHP, Python or Perl
Minimum 2 year of hands on back-end programming in one the following: .Net, Node.js, Java
Minimum 1 year of hands on experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or SaltStack
2+ years’ experience building and managing a continuous integration environment using Jenkins w/ Pipeline
Knowledge of container and cluster orchestration technologies such as Docker, Mesos, Kubernetes
Experience with ELK stack, Splunk, Nagios for monitoring and analysis
Previous experience working with front end build platforms and tools like Gulp and SASS/LESS
Experience working with mobile build platforms such as Gradle and Xcode
Experience with Java/.NET build tools such as MSBuild, Ant, Maven
Expert level experience working in a Windows environment
Strong Experience working in a Linux environment
Strong attention to detail and work ethic
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
