Job Description :
We are seeking a highly-motivated Engineer to support and maintain a new Industrial IoT platform. This role is the first line of support for application, build, and infrastructure issues requiring a deep understanding of CI/CD best practices, Container orchestration, and an ability to help debug distributed systems. You will be working closely with Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists.
· Share the responsibility for the operations and uptime of our Cloud platform hosting solutions to our business units.
· You would work as a support DevOps Engineer, working within a small, high-end team, and will join a team providing 24/7 support (problem assessment and escalation), also participating in the improvement of our Cloud platform.
· The role requires understanding of the CI/CD process, devops toolchain automation, container orchestration and monitoring.
· This is primarily a DevOps support position that will work closely on troubleshooting, resolving or escalating issues related to the CI/CD pipeline or monitoring of the cluster and applications running on it.
· Other duties include researching, proofing, and documentation.
Position Requirements:
· Bachelor''s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
· CI/CD tools experience (Jenkins pipelines, Sonarqube, GitHub)
· Monitoring tools and applications (PagerDuty, Grafana, Kibana, etc)
· Linux Administration and support Engineering experience .
· Container orchestration experience (Docker, K8s)
· Scripting (Python, Bash, Groovy, etc)
· Configuration Management (Chef, Puppet or Ansible)
