Position : Devops Engineer with Kubernetes.
Location : EL Segundo, CA
Duration : 14 months
Rate : $50-55/hr on W2
Position: DevOps Engineer that has experience in large scale environments. Capable of working on full stack infrastructures with experience developing, maintaining and improving existing and new product architectures. Programming experience is required with at least one high level language such as Python, shell, perl
Member of the machine learning cloud platform team in charge of automating, troubleshooting end-to-end devops pipeline components and create/execute various performance harnesses against REST services based platform.
Must have experience automating Devops technologies and experiences, for other developers to use.
Location: US, prefer Los Angles based or West
Essential Functions: Specific responsibilities of this role include:
Self-starter leader and good communication skills
Automating, troubleshooting Devops technologies around Jenkins, Docker & Kubernetes on Linux
Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes APIs, networking & storage overlays
Create, execute load/performance tests against various REST APIs
Guide and work with team who manages Kubernetes, Docker environment
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Requirements
Extensive knowledge of agile development and modern Devops technologies for microservices
1-2+ years hands-on Kubernetes administration, storage, networking, troubleshooting
Docker (or equivalent) on Kubernetes with the ability to package and deploy various technologies below into Devops pipeline
1-2 years preferred Python, shell scripting
3-4+ years with leading Linux distribution (Redhat, Ubuntu, etc)
Knowledge of one or the following of Bitbucket, Stash, git,
2-3+ years Jenkins administration
SQL/NoSQL: knowledge of one of the following: Cassandra, MongoDB, MariaDB, MySQL
Repositories Knowledge of one of the following: Nexus3, npm
QA Testing tools Knowledge of one of the following: Junit, Soasta Protractor.
Knowledge of one of the following: Jira, Rally
Knowledge of ELK (ElasticSearch Logstash, and Kibana)
